Flame of Recca, also known as Recca no Honoo, is a manga by Nobuyuki Anzai that lasted from 1995 to 2002 and was a part of Shounen Sunday magazine. The anime version of Flame of Recca, animated by Studio Pierrot, started in 1997 and ended in 1998, obviously not covering the entire manga series.
